Build Plant Specific Assembly Plans and BOPs

Teamcenter software’s Advanced Assembly Planning application allows you to configure the product bill-of-process and the plant bill-of-process (BOP) independent of each other. A product BOP contains components and subassemblies and the recipe of operations and resources needed to build the
product. A plant BOP consists of stations and cells with the list of operations that can be performed at a particular station.

Advanced Assembly Planning provides a highly dynamic and intuitive user interface to easily navigate between product BOP and plant BOP. With the selection synchronization feature you will know the exact context of your tasks so that you can make faster decisions. You can visualize and resolve conflicts between your product BOP and multiple plant BOPs.

Create Processes and Operation Sequences Graphically

Teamcenter software's Manufacturing Process Planner application provides the functionality for graphical layout and sequencing of operations. The process Gantt chart is an intuitive way to do early layout planning showing the dependencies and constraints while the Pert Chart capabilities further refine the synchronization between processes and the parts/assemblies tied to specific operations. Parts, resources and manufacturing features are directly tied to the Pert Chart components, streamlining the sequencing of operations and improving change management with intuitive visual cues in a single window.

Maintaining engineering and manufacturing BOMs in disparate systems can cause inefficiencies when product designs are frequently updated and launch schedules are constantly squeezed.
